Monkey Majik + Yoshida Brothers – Change (2007.04.25)
Tras Picture Perfect junto a m-flo y Sotsugyou, Soshite Miraihe junto a SEAMO está ya a puntito el tercer single por tercer mes consecutivo de Monkey Majik, que cerrará definitivamente esta tanda de colaboraciones de la original banda japonesa-canadiense. Este nuevo single se titula Change y es una colaboración junto a los Yoshida Brothers (Yoshida Kyodai) un dúo de hermanos japoneses que toca el shamisen, un tradicional instrumento japonés.

El single sigue completamente la línea de los dos anteriores, esto es, la carátula simula la caja de un medicamento y el single incluye a mayores dos canciones de Monkey Majik en solitario. Pero seguro que ya estáis ansiosos por ahorraros todos estos detallitos y escuchar esta colaboración tan peculiar, así que aquí tenéis el PV recién salidito del horno.
A mí personalmente me encanta la canción, creo que han conseguido fusionar perfectamente ambos estilos así que mi enhorabuena tanto para los componentes de Monkey Majik como para los hermanos Yoshida. Pero es una pena que al menos de momento estas colaboraciones vayan a terminar, pero por lo menos espero que saquen un buen álbum -sería el paso más lógico, creo- dentro de poco.

La canción está genial! Mi favorita con Picture Perfect y en tercer lugar la colaboración SEAMO, pero en general están las tres muy bien ;o y eso que cuando he leído que era con los yoshida brothers(no lo sabía) me ha dejado un poco frío xD

Increible, ya habia oido la musica de Yoshida Brothers, y me gusta mucho, pero es alucinante lo bien q queda el shamisen en esta cancion. Me encanta, seguro q me comrpo el cd de Mokey Majik cuando vuelva a Japon

hey alguien tiene la letra de “Sotsugyou Soshite Miraihe” donde canta con seamo el estribillo dice algo de… say goodbye…. pero lo japones no entiendo nada, el video tambien esta bueno , a ve si ponen car crash si la tiene para bajarla porqeu no la encuentro en ares ni emule ni nada saludos …bye

Ojala salga el disco ya por dios, k manera de fusionar…cuanta originalidad sip…por cierto si os interesa, su single mas popular se llama Around The World de 2006 y llego al numero CUATRO del ORICON…lo cual me ha dejado mas soprendido aun…hay 2 albumes muy interesantes de ellos en el emule…Best 2000-2005 y Thank You k contiene el citado single y es muy pero k muy buen album.

A mí la verdad es que Thank You me decepcionó un poquito, pero los singles que están sacando desde entonces me encantan. Y el “Best” no lo he escuchado, aunque si no me equivoco es un recopilatorio de su carrera ‘indie’.
Por cierto, en breve sacarán una nueva versión de “Around The World” como single y poco después un álbum. Y también van a empezar gira, así que ya les dedicaré un nuevo post en no mucho tiempo =D
